The Friends of Dudley Farm, Inc. is a CSO or Citizen Support Organization which supports our individual state parks. Friends of Dudley Farm works with the park staff of Dudley Farm Historical State Park to support the preservation, interpretation, and operation of this historic state park. Our activities range from sponsoring special events, collections of dues and contributions, to providing fund raising and programs/gatherings for volunteers . Our volunteers contribute all together on average over the last 10 years, 2000 hrs per year to the state park making it possible for the park to purchase equipment, building improvements, supplies, etc. The Friends of Dudley Farm have completed the following purchases and improvements to the park in the last year: Building the new syrup making complex, constructing the repair shop, feeding and caring for the Dudley Farm animals, buying the hay implement for the park’s working tractor, major overhaul of the antique tractor, architectural drawings for the Indoor Education Center, refurbishing the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) trolley and making a donation toward the purchase of the event pavilion. It would have been impossible for Dudley Farm Historic State Park to do these projects on their own. Our newest project is the building of our Indoor Education Center. This building will greatly enhance Dudley Farm’s capabilities to host indoor events, give lectures and presentations to the public, provide educational classrooms for students in the public school system, and provide a place to host weddings, family reunions, etc.Donations are welcome in any amount, and are applied 100% to the operation of Friends of Dudley Farm.
