Join us at the farm on the second Saturday of the month for our Dudley Kids Day. Children and adults alike, ages 5 to 65, can join in the fun! There are hands on demonstrations, crafts, old fashioned games and even some education. Learn about history, and a farming way of life.

Weaving Workshop: Introduce your children to the art of weaving making special weaving projects geared 
for children. It's fun, and they will have something to take home.
This is a child friendly workshop.

This is a great craft to share with young crafters. Yarn dolls are a perennial favorite 
with kids of all ages! If you can wrap yarn you are on your way to having a doll. Not only that,
but it’ll give him or her something to play with and be proud of. And, you can make
clothing and hair for the doll when you are done. This is a child friendly workshop.

Bring some of the delicate beauty of summer blossoms to your fall decorating by making flowers from the husks of dried corn. 
Cornhusk lends itself to many variations when it comes to making flowers. You can make a sunflower, poppy, marigold or rose
from
cornhusk. You need very simple material other than cornhusk to make flowers, most of which is present in every house.
You can use paint or dye to make colored flowers or you use the natural color of husk. This is a child friendly workshop.

Dudley National Public Lands DaySaturday, September 22, 2018 09:30am - 12:30pm

This is the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve America's public lands.  We will be re-planting some of the original Dudley plants that have disappeared. This is a special opportunity to bring these heritage plants back to the gardens. We will also remove exotic plants and clean-up trails. Groups, families and individuals are welcome. Please meet at the Visitors Center.  Dress appropriately, wear closed toe shoes, and bring work gloves, bug spray and a hand trowel or loppers. A day to give, a lifetime to enjoy!

Dudley Farm Quilt Day, Heritage Nursery Plant Sale & Collectors DaySaturday, October 06, 2018 09:30am - 02:30pm

Scraps, Scraps, Scraps - A Drunkard's Path demonstration is scheduled at 10 am, Scrap Quilt presentation at 11 am and a Bed-turning presented by the Quilter's of Alachua County Day Guild at 1 pm. Quilt Day features traditional, appliquéd, and vintage quilts. Our quilters would love you to share your favorite old family heritage quilts or one you just finished, and hear its story. Please feel free to bring your quilts. Also including the Levy County Quilt Museum, quilt groups and quilts for sale.

Don't forget our popular Heritage Plant Sale by the Friends of Dudley Farm featuring Dudley Heritage plants, gingers, camellias, crape myrtles and native plants for your garden.

Plus, collectors will be displaying their unique collections of the era. $5 per vehicle

Fall Farm & Cane FestivalSaturday, December 01, 2018 09:00am - 03:00pm

See an original Florida working farm from the post Civil War to the 1940s as they grind sugar cane and boil it into cane syrup. Old-time craft demonstrations such as grinding corn into cornmeal, ironsmithing, woodworking, and washday demonstration. Also children's activities and toys, old-time music, quilt drawing and vendors are featured on this living history day.
